Hi there,
I seem to have an issue with RustBuster where it generates the same ID that other people have.So every time I launch Rust it gives me a warning in the console and suggests that I change my ID with a unban tool.I can't find a unban tool that works and some websites look really shady so I don't want to download their crap.Screenshot_1.png
The reason I created this thread is that when I try to join the server I play in, it tells me "ConnectionBanned" but it's been 1 month since I last played so I think that the ID I have is banned on the server.
I searched for a post that has a similar problem that I have but no luck.I have tried some things and again, no luck.
-Re-downloading
-Updating the client
-Downloading a previous version of the client
-Changing my name (if that matters at all)

The only thing I haven't tried is installing a fresh system.
Any help is welcome!

That means you were playing with the old lumaemu version and you already have an ID pregenerated.
That is really a problem indeed, here is what works and you can try:

http://fougerite.com/threads/steam-acc.1303/#post-12436

Now, what you should do generally after each ban to get a new ID and prevent the crash:
1. Delete the LumaEmu file - please note that you have to delete the "LumaEmu Folder" if this is the second time you want a new ID(use any unban tool or delete it yourself)
2. Run the game and either try to connect or reconnect to a server, the game will crash afterwards
3. Delete the LumaEmu file again (use any unban tool or delete it yourself)
4. Create a folder named "LumaEmu" in the Local folder
5. Now run Rust and enjoy playing(again)
After that, you need to request an unban at the specific server owner (Reference this post to him)
Since RustBuster also bans for Hardware ID to avoid the possibilities to unban yourself.

If you changed your lumaemu ID, and It regenerated a new one, on the newest engine, all should be fine. ;)

You Sir, are a living legend.
Got rid of the warning, sending a unban request right now.
Thank you for your help.
