You want cars back? i think you can download one of the older Clients/Servers to get cars.
Now that I think of it, it might be possible for us to extract the code from the older server/client and turn it into a client plugin

A new update is coming Not sure when, But RustBuster and Fougerite will be updated every now and then

It is possible but someone would need to spend quite some time lower the quality of textures and stuff
