just looked at the Rust++ Code and it doesn't look the AutoSave feature is even "Coded" in.
I mean the function is there but nothing sets off the timer to autosave.
It must be just the default auto save timer

If you're using Visual Studio then I think there's a tab called build(Might be also called debug), click that and then click build again in the drop down

Yes, But the original JS code was created by someone (@DreTaX I believe)
Not stating where the original code came from will normally result in the plugin being unapproved until fixed
Think of it like you typed a 5 page essay and someone takes it and just changes a few things
