I am sorry , but never heard of the problem related to Rustbuster ,it seems more individual problem try reinstalling Rustbuster and when you run it make sure no background application is running Do you mind writing your Pc config.? RAM, Hdd and Processor?

First that can be your PC ,second it also happen sometimes when you are watching to one side and it has no entity(huge building,items,or nay game model) where you can have la or low FPS as it try t render everything and on other hand second side is most probably all empty . it is not server side...

You can load list of all servers approved by Rustbuster, you do not need to open console just click play game and refresh list. ATM there are only 2 server there as they are only active and registered. many server either has some problem or has been removed because of in-activeness.
