Great that Experimental has MOD now... Oxide has it done but will release when updates will slow down!
Python is hard and I would prefer LUA... Easy, Fast understanding, Fast typing, I know it best :D
Time to learn Python... Looks hard but will give it a try!

Using DretaX's python plugins from his github help point me in the right direction. Use either Tab's or spaces, and everything has to be aligned properly. Just my 2 cents from converting 2 of my plugins last night to python for first time.

Hello Everyone,

I just pulled the latest from Git, compiled, copied the dll's and patched. Everything during the compile went without an issue.

When I start the server the process hangs at 50% cpu and never pops the server console. I took a look at the Ouput log and it appears I'm hitting an exception.

I'm not sure exactly where I've gone arwy. One thing that I noticed is that the readme mentions that version 1309 is supported. Checking the console of a working server it appears I'm running v1317. I'm really curious as to what's going on as I see there are a few other dev servers in the 'modded' section that appear to be running without issue. I'd like to get this up and going to build a couple scripts as I'm familiar with Python.

Dl the the server with:
app_update 258550 validate
without:
-beta experimental
and make sure to copy all the needed dlls to the managed folder. (Jint, IronPython.Deps, System.Reactive, Mono.Cecil and Pluton of course)
And one more thing, don't use msbuild.

balu92, as you advised I re-downloaded the server files using 'app_update 258550 validate'. This appears to have been the issue. I'm not sure what's up with our base install of rust release, but this version is reporting v1309 and is working correctly with Pluton. Thanks for the help!

No. LUA IS EVERYTHING but not fast understanding not easy and not stable at all if you comare It to Python. Py stands above Js and lua in a lot of ways. xD

Im short, you can get into It really easy. Nothing specific, though Im working with It since 2011

Are there any example python scripts that I could examine? I'm failing pretty hard with the HelloWorld example.

Can someone please make a turorial on xamarin studio , i want to compile the files but i dont know how ...i tried several times but no succes....

I did app_update 258550 validate a day ago, and it updated Rust server to v1319. Since that I can't start the server if I apply the Pluton patch. Any idea how to get it work? (I replaced the original .dll so it starts now without the mod)

I didn't saw an update for the game, they usually update them the same time... I will check if I can update the server to 1319, and if I can update the patcher. Unfortunately you will have to wait till then.

Only the server got updates, the client is still v1309 and works with the newer server versions.

Ok, I'm creating a dummy release right now, so we can test @DreTaX 's downloader. Then I'll dl the new server files and check them. ;)
